SURREALIST TURKISH BATH SLIPPERS

Basak Cankes and her collaborative artists designed hand-painted Turkish Hammam slippers line as a part of Entrada De Gala En El Haren collection, which is inspired by adapting surrealism of Salvador Dali paintings into Turkish Miniature Art.

Arya Kamali, Filiz Adiguzel Toprak and Gulden Gener are very special names that play an essential role in designing patterns of hand-painted slippers, which contain overtones of both Salvador Dali paintings and Turkish Miniature Art. The slippers worn by models in wearable art experience of Bashaques’ that took place in Zorlu PSM, are exhibited again as a part of Design Week Turkey in the past few days.
