HOW TO DESIGN AN EXPERIENCE?

Nov 17, 2017

Creating process for Ballerina’s Hidden Dream collection has started with designing rooms.
Basak Cankes directed this collection with her method of dressing characters that take place in each room. There were 6 rooms in total. She and Mert Yemenicioglu, who’ve involved the brand as a stylist for 4 seasons now, set to work making production drawings and deciding on color, texture, music and even smell of each room.  After they indicate how many models they will be using and transition of rooms with rough drawings, they thereafter agree on using performance artists or not. Following this process, they get down to business with collaborative artists and start directing patterns that will be used as a part of the collection. They assort patterns in each room and finalize the wearable art experience.
